Having been born in Israel to a tight knit family, Eli chose to remain in Jerusalem to pursue his bachelor’s degree at Turo College. In 2002, Eli moved to New York City to begin his career as a real estate agent at Citi-Habitats. It wasn’t long before Eli founded his own brokerage in 2004, Homestead NYC, which focused on residential leasing and condominium sales. Within 5 years, Homestead NYC grew to employ over 100 agents over 3 retail locations, having brokered over $250,000,000 in transactions. 2010 saw Eli move to Upstate NY to co-found ME Real Estate with his brother Moshe. By 2001, ME had opened their first in-house management company, which grew exponentially to include 1,300 units across Rochester, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Indianapolis. Eli’s current role at ME Real Estate includes overseeing new developments, new acquisitions, big picture operations, and the company’s portfolio and financing. Eli remains a licensed real estate broker in New York and Ohio.
Born in Berkeley California, Moshe’s family moved to Jerusalem Israel shortly thereafter, where Moshe would be raised. In 2004, Moshe began working with this father, a brilliant mechanical engineer in the medical device industry, where he was head of marketing for AC Engineering. Moshe still holds a spot on the board, where he supplies industry leaders in the medical and aviation world with technology solutions, both locally and globally. In 2005, Moshe started investing in NYC real estate with his brother Eli, where they focused on buying and flipping condominiums, which led to the creation of ME Real Estate in 2010. Since then, ME Real Estate has expanded its footprint to several cities, including Rochester, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Indianapolis. The ME Real Estate umbrella encompases over 1,300 residential and commercial properties, all being overseen by in-house management companies. Moshe’s role is to oversee investment, underwriting, and securing investments, while also focusing on the long term goals and strategies to continue to grow the company.
